I started my PhD in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences under Dr. Qiang Fu in Fall Quarter 2023, and am co-advised by Dr. Ruby Leung at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. I am studying changes to the North American hydroclimate and specifically how our modeling of mesoscale convective systems might affect our understanding of precipitation trends in the Midwestern U.S. My general interests include hydrometeorology, remote sensing applications, and orographic precipitation. I am a member of the PCC Graduate Student Steering Committee and serve on the ACORN committee.
