Faculty | Environmental and Forest Sciences

Soo-Hyung Kim is part of the School of Environmental and Forest Sciences as a plant ecophysiologist, studying how plants respond to their environment at multiple scales, from individual organisms to the entire ecosystem. Specifically, he uses information on plants' responses to environmental stressors to better predict ways to improve crop performance and yield, while reducing the environmental costs of agriculture. He also serves as a member of the PCC Governing Board.
