My research interests including studying the chemical composition of aerosols and their influence on chemical pathways in our atmosphere. I am currently working with a new chemical ionization method known as Extractive Electrospray Ionization that will provide both high time resolution and quantitative information about aerosol particles, something that has been lacking in the field. Myself and the members of Joel Thornton’s group, ultimately aim to apply this technique to one of the largest reservoirs of natural aerosols, sea spray. This year on the PCC I am serving as a P-GraSC member on the research workshop subcommittee and am looking forward to collaborating with other members of the PCC.
