Graduate Student | Earth and Space Sciences
I am a PhD Candidate in the Earth and Space Sciences Department in Brad Lipovsky's research group where I use light scattering within fiber optic cables deployed on glaciers to sense glacier temperature and dynamics and high resolution. My current research involves reconstructing the ground surface temperature history and ice motion in the Allan Hills Blue Ice Area, Antarctica from borehole temperature profiles. In 2023, I won the Graubard Fellowship to continue this work.
