Postdoctoral Researcher | APL/UW Oceanography/NOAA-PMEL

Hannah Joy-Warren is an NSF Office of Polar Programs (OPP) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Applied Physics Lab (UW). I also collaborate with groups at NOAA's Pacific Marine Environmental Lab and UW's School of Oceanography. I am a polar biogeochemical oceanographer studying the role of phytoplankton community composition in carbon flows in the Southern Ocean. I enjoy combining multiple datasets to answer questions regarding air-sea CO2 carbon fluxes, carbon export, and phytoplankton community composition, including Biogeochemical-Argo floats, in situ measurements, and satellite data.
