Graduate Student | Earth and Space Science

My research interests occupy the intersections of sedimentology & stratigraphy, geochemistry, biostratigraphy and geochronology. Or, broadly, how to tell time using various rock clocks in order to understand the timing, tempo, and duration of changes to Earth Systems. My work as a PhD student at UW is focused on understanding the relationship between global glaciation, carbon cycle perturbation, and the appearance of Earth’s first complex animal-like organisms in the Ediacaran period (ca. 635-538.8 Ma).
