I’m interested in understanding the public health risks of natural disasters, and in identifying policy solutions to build climate resilience for vulnerable populations. My thesis research, advised by Nicole Errett, will examine the role of senior centers in supporting older adults’ disaster resilience in King County. I am also working with Tania Busch Isaksen on a study evaluating the effectiveness of an innovative heat safety risk communication tool for vulnerable populations in King County. I am a member of the 2018-19 PCC Graduate Student Steering Committee.
