Claire Jensen
Graduate Student | ESS
I am a graduate student in ESS working with Michalea King and Ian Joughin at the Polar Science Center in the Applied Physics Laboratory. My work focuses on analyzing the seasonal fluctuations of Greenland glaciers. I am supported by the Program on Climate Change Fellowship.
I graduated from Amherst College in 2024 with a BA in computer science and geology, where I explored the effects of persistent katabatic winds on the ability of Dome A, Antarctica, to hold ice older than 1.5 million years.
I am passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the geosciences (www.justiceingeo.org).
