I finished my MS in atmospheric science in Spring 2016, studying the limits of seasonal predictions of Arctic sea ice. I have changed directions slightly in joining a current program between SMEA and JSIS, where I'm researching how climate change is being reframed as a security issue in the Arctic, the political ramifications thereof, and how lessons learned and best practices can be translated to other areas around the globe where there the climate change policies are less robust.
