Graduate Student | Atmospheric Sciences
I am a graduate student in Atmospheric Sciences working with Professor Qiang Fu. My research involves improving estimates of atmospheric warming using satellite observations. I also compare these satellite observations to global climate models (GCMs) to help validate and improve GCMs (and their projections of future climate). My research interests include climate feedback processes, remote sensing, and using general circulation models to understand aspects of the Earth's climate. I am also interested in the intersection of food security and global health with climate. I enjoy doing climate outreach and helped develop a few modules (working with Chris Terai). Our simple online climate model is here (based off Professor LuAnne Thompson's excel climate model).
